The small beach is surrounded by beautiful cliffs and areas of natural grass. The beach is only accessible by trail or boat and there are only two fishermen's shacks on site. In addition to the beach, the trail leads to Ponta do Gravatá and its beautiful set of stones, and Pedra do Urubu, from where you have a 360° view of several beaches.
Gravatá is a type of prickly plant, also known as Caraguatá. This plant, which is standard on the hill and in the vicinity of the beach, gave it its name. Gravatá beach is small, only 75 meters long. However, it is framed by a beautiful setting, with greenish waters, between gorgeous rock formations and natural lawns.
